We have recently bought a beautiful little house on a hill overlooking the Sangro Valley in Abruzzo. We found the house on the abitaitalia website and were guided through the complicated process of buying it by Kamala and Sarah. They helped us with finding the property, showing us the area, legal documents, translations, bank accounts, etc. We were amazed how stress-free, quick, and enjoyable the whole adventure was, and are very pleased we chose abitaitalia. For many years I've been one of those people who longed to buy and live in Italy - I contacted many agents and usually ended up by hitting the proverbial brick wall as the properties I enquired about were either sold or doubled in price due to "computer/website errors" know the feeling folks? After reading about Abruzzo and a few searches later I came across abitaitalia and the start of what's turned into the most fun and helpful way of buying my dream property and some delightful new friends! Kamala and Sarah have looked after me and never once offered me something I wasn't remotely interested in, in fact the second house they showed me made me burst into tears as it was exactly what I'd asked them to find for me and my family. The legal process went so smoothly thanks to the utterly charming Piero who also has a great sense of humour and answered all my questions without any fuss organised the insurance on my house and any other paperwork almost before the words were out of my mouth - Piero's word of the month is "mate" and sounds so much better with an Italian accent... After the final legal work and payment I was due to return to England on 10/08 and was duly taken to the airport by Kamala only to discover all flights were cancelled, and as my son's said "how ghastly Mum being forced to stay in Italy for a few more days!" Totally unfazed Kamala took me back to her house and put me up locally / up with me and spent the next few days taking me out and about with her so I wouldn't feel bored. We are now preparing for our move to Italy in September and know that if we have any problems our new found friends will be there to help and guide us - They've even arrange school place for my two grandchildren-what a team! So all I can say is if you want your Italian dream to be a reality don't delay contact abitaitalia today. Frances Mackenzie

We would like to thank you for all your hard work and professionalism in the purchase of our house in Abruzzo, Italy. We originally considered buying somewhere here without any help from a company such as yours, but after reading several books on the subject, and considering the many pitfalls,( the main ones being not fluent in the language, and the labyrinth of taxes) we decided that it would be far too stressful, and therefore would be money well spent. We were right! We would most certainly not have been able to bargain down the price of the house, arrange the exchange of contracts, and work out taxes due on the purchase. You have all been incredibly helpful, and continue to be so, and I would not hesitate to recommend you to any of my friends or clients looking to purchase property in Italy. When we decided to buy in Italy in June 2006 we researched various companies like yours. We requested to view properties at short notice and you were more than happy to oblige.
